Hey all! I'm a busy bee so let's jump right into - News and updates!
The contracts are signed and the deal is done:
Starting at the beginning of November, NIGHTMARE WORLD is going to be part of Image Comics' new online Shadowline webcomic line-up/community located at http://shadowlinecomics.com/webcomics/
That's right, folks... NIGHTMARE WORLD is now part of the Image/Shadowline Comics line-up!
From Dirk Manning himself,
"To say that this is a dream come true is no hyperbole at all, as it was the creation of Image Comics that finally inspired me to follow my own dream of creating my own comics that could be owned by myself and my co-creators rather than a large corporate entity/publisher.
I've been very, very fortunate to have the success I've had to date with NIGHTMARE WORLD over the last several years due in no small part to the support of all of you who've read the series, enjoyed it and spread the word to other friends and fans and that -- as well as the countless hours of hard work the small army of artists and I dedicated to the series -- has resulted in the creation of a series that I'm very proud of... and now, at long last, I feel that we're finally making it to the 'big leagues.'"
Awesome news and exposure!
Random news:
The tattoo apprenticeship is going well. I'm getting antsy to start using the machines and actually tattooing. But it'll happen in due time. Right now I'm designing a 3/4 sleeve for a customer.

I'm midway through a new Mr. Rhee story for an upcoming anthology. I've tried a slightly different style with this one.
